Peter Island Resort, the British Virgin Island’s luxury private island hideaway, has unveiled its reimagining.  A cherished Caribbean classic, the resort’s long-awaited re-opening welcomes guests with the same charming Caribbean hospitality, casual elegance and natural wonders including five idyllic beaches and hundreds of acres of untainted, lush tropical island. What’s new and stunningly re-envisioned are beachfront accommodations just steps from the aquamarine sea, a redesigned spa, new restaurants, a Yacht Club for superyachts of up to 200 feet and much more.

Six Senses AMAALA (Saudi Arabia) – Opening Second Half 2025

Derived from the Arabic word for hope and the Sanskrit word for purity, AMAALA embodies Saudi Arabia’s transformative Vision 2030 program. Six Senses Triple Bay, AMAALA blends the area’s natural raw beauty with elegant, sustainable design to create a hillside village, beachfront residences and villas lining a private mangrove bay. The 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas and 25 branded residences are inspired by the region’s traditional coastal villages with winding streets and paths leading to enchanting plazas, glimpses of Pura Cove’s iridescent blue lagoons and panoramic views extending across the Hijaz Cove to the Red Sea. 

Six Senses London

Six Senses brings together a unique community of residents, hotel guests and members within an iconic London landmark. Occupying an entire city block on Queensway and a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, The Whiteley development is a complete re-imagining of epic scale and proportion of the historic Whiteley department store. Six Senses London will have 109 rooms and suites, 14 Six Senses Residences and the world’s first Six Senses Place, a private members club providing a holistic haven where mind and body can reset and rebalance.

Six Senses Milan – Opening Second Half 2025

 Six Senses Milan marks the brand’s second Italian property following Six Senses Rome’s 2023 debut. With a coveted address at Via Brera 19 in the heart of Milan’s artistic Brera quarter, Six Senses Milan will take guests on a journey of discovery through craftsmanship and timeless style – from arabescato marble to antique brass detailing, handmade smoked glass, textured ceilings, and mosaic borders.  The hotel has been constructed based on the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability. Design elements include an internal courtyard, a specialty restaurant and deli, scenic roof top bar, sky pool and a prominent space dedicated to the hotel’s Earth Lab.  Of the 68 guest rooms, 15 are suites, and two feature private plunge pools. A state-of-the-art spa will administer a variety of high-tech, high-touch treatments.  

Six Senses Dubai Residences

Six Senses Dubai Marina – Opening Second Half 2025

Six Senses Palm Jumeirah hotel and branded Dubai residences will offer a new dimension in community living. The residential offering will include Penthouses, Royal Penthouses, and duplex Sky Villas, together with nine five-bedroom beachfront Signature Villas, each offering a private garden, infinity pool, and palm-framed views to the beach. Targeting LEED Silver certification, Six Senses Dubai Marina will promote sustainability and wellness. Layered onto the infrastructure is a suite of amenities that occupy a total area of 61,250 sq. ft., spread across four levels, and uniquely themed to promote well-being. Plans are afoot for a dedicated longevity center combining high-tech science and diagnostics with high-touch services, cryotherapy and hyperbaric oxygen chambers, a crystal sound healing room and a spa area with a range of hydrotherapy amenities. The Skydeck’s stunning 25-meter lap pool on the 109th floor is a testament to this project’s captivating design.

Six Senses Kyoto’s design is rich with storytelling.  Located in the heart of Kyoto near the Gion district, Six Senses’ first property in Japan features 81 guest rooms design in authentic Japanese style around a central garden courtyard showcasing seasonal landscapes. The Spa artfully blends Japanese practices with Six Senses’ innovatative wellness technology.  Whimsical and quirky design elements in guest-rooms and public areas are inspired by ancient Japanese legends and folklore such as the Tale of Genji and the legends of the Soudan Fox and the Moon Rabbit. 
This Apothecary Inspired Bar is Quietly Becoming Kyoto’s New See-And-Be Seen Hot Spot

Word is getting around about Six Senses Kyoto’s discreet Nine Tails bar located behind an unmarked, nondescript door.  Locals and tourists alike are heading to Nine Tails for their after work happy hour, pre-dinner aperitivo and night cap. The atmosphere is intimately seductive with unique design touches like the intricate yakisugi burnt cedar backdrop. Cocktails are inspired by the Japanese micro-seasons and are made with the bar’s collection of over 100 local spirits and liquors and other fixings including homemade syrups, cordials and sodas. The only spirit in the bar that’s not local is their tequila which is sourced from a Japanese couple based in Mexico.

Six Senses Kyoto’s New Wellness Afternoon Tea Changes with the Japanese Micro Seasons

Served in the hotel’s Sekki Restaurant, this afternoon tea is inspired by the 24 Japanese micro-seasons. Modified every couple of weeks to incorporate ingredients that are at their peak, the tea is in alignment Eat With Six Senses’ deliciously healthy eating philosophy, gluten-free and free of refined sugars. Fermented foods beneficial for digestive health are included such as local amazake cream, instead of clotted cream, made from rice and koji (malted rice), and raisin sandwiches made with sakekasu, a fruity, paste-like ingredient that is a by-product of making sake.

A new, dynamic Women’s Wellness Program has been launched by Six Senses Vana, Six Senses’ only dedicated wellness retreat located in the Himalayan foothills of northern India. Developed by the property’s team of doctors and wellness professionals, each highly-personalized retreat is designed to optimize health and wellbeing during transformative phases in many women’s lives by tapping into the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic and Tibetan healing practices. The Embrace Your Cycle Retreat focuses on alleviating hormone imbalances often experienced by women in their 20s and 30s. Six Senses Launches Plastic Freedom Playbook A Hoteliers’ Hot-To-Guide For Reducing Use of Plastics

Six Senses has compiled years of research, work and results into their Plastic Freedom Playbook to provide 82 tried and true solutions dating as far back as 1995 when the brand was founded and banned plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel from its properties. Today Six Senses in its plastic-free crusade, is taking an innovative, proactive approach toward eliminating even the more complex and challenging plastic items at properties worldwide. In addition, Six Senses teams work with their suppliers and purchasing teams to eliminate plastic shipping containers, cartons and plastic wrap to further extend plastic reduction efforts into the supply chain. From these years of effort came the solutions outlined in the new Playbook being shared with the Hotel Industry to inspire, guide and show fellow hoteliers what’s possible to reduce plastic use for the health of our planet.  Playbook available upon request.
